CG had the pleasure of meeting Mr Paul Dennett, City Mayor of Salford and Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester. Discussed wide range of subjects covering health, climate, economy, cultural connect between India and Salford, extending to strengthening India-Manchester partnership. The Salford Civic Centre's vision and leadership towards the wellbeing of the community of Salford is admirable. These developments provide opportunities for bilateral growth between India and Salford.

Community members, across all faiths and areas of Manchester & Greater Manchester, joined CGI Manchester to remember the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam. We collectively reiterated Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi's resolve to bring justice for the victims of this attack. We stand together against Terrorism. Dean Rogers Govender of the Manchester Cathedral addressed the meeting. He spoke of solidarity and peace in the face of terrorism and recited a sermon for lives lost on 22nd April in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
